Happy Baristas is a multi-roaster café. We serve specialty coffee beans from the best roasters from all over Europe. We constantly receive coffee samples, but only a small number of these meet our select criteria. What you find on rotation on our bar and on our retail shelves is the coffee that we personally enjoy and want you to enjoy too.

We are working with the best European roasters such as Workshop Coffee from London, Colonna Coffee from the UK, Casino Mocca from Budapest, Doubleshot from Prague, The Barn from Berlin, Great Coffee from Aarhus, and more.

We are a specialty coffee shop. We focus on what we know best – good quality coffee and drinks.

We don’t believe there is only one right way to drink coffee. We serve coffee in many ways.

As the key ingredient in our ‘signature drinks’, we seek to combine the unusual and explore the unknown. Our menu changes regularly. It reflects our creativity and reveals our childlike curiosity and eagerness to play.

You can find four different coffees served daily on our bar. We make all our drinks in-house. You won’t find any bottled drinks in the shop. We have an infrastructure of taps, pipes, and cooling systems for our drinks including our sparkling rooibos ice tea and lemonades, as well as for our nitro coffee and tea.

Part of our café is dedicated to everything and anything related to coffee. We offer lots of brewing equipment, filters, grinders and other good quality design products. On our retail shelves, you can often find coffee beans from a variety of top European roasters. Do you want to make a tasty cup of coffee at home? We can help.

We offer breakfast every day. Our philosophy in the kitchen is similar to our philosophy at front of house.  

We work with high-quality ingredients sourced as local as possible. Our menu reflects seasonality and changes accordingly. Kitchen and front of house are closely connected, creating a closed loop in order to minimize wastage. All elements in our dishes are produced entirely in-house.

Squid Nitro Coffee and Tea


We have spent over a year researching and learning everything there is to know about nitro coffee. We have built a system of pipes and taps that runs under the bar into our cold stores. This allows us to keep a close eye on our onsite produced nitro brews. We have designed a unique recipe to make our own nitro coffee – creamy, smooth, sweet and refreshing.

But we haven’t stopped there. We started experimenting and discovered incredibly tasty and refreshing nitro tea. We use high-quality tea, which is sourced from our friends, Chris and Shawn from Companion Tea, who travel to tea farms to pick the best teas available. We then combine them with other ingredients and we create unique and flavoursome drinks that will surprise and delight your taste buds. Our nitro tea has a beautiful cascading effect as does our nitro coffee. Nitro tea has a smooth and creamy mouthfeel without any dairy in it. Get ready for a new sensation experience!




Handbrewed filter coffee

Coffee at Home: beginner’s filter coffee course

Making coffee at home should be easy and fun. You don’t need to spend hundreds of Euros on an expensive espresso machine.

In this workshop, we focus on filter coffee. We will introduce you to the world of Specialty Coffee, we will learn about various brewing methods, how to control different factors and variables of brewing (time, grind size, temperature) in order to achieve a great cup of coffee.

The workshop is in English and German. Minimum of 3 participants, maximum 5.

Basic Espresso Course

In this course, we will focus on the basics when making espresso. Finding the right recipe, grinder setup, workflow and use of scales. We will show you the importance of correct dosing, distribution, and tamping. We will taste and go through basic troubleshooting and show you how to keep your machine clean to achieve the best taste results.

Basic Latte Art Course

This course is all about milk. We will go through the process of steaming and texturising milk, show you the importance of right milk temperature and what affect it has on the drink and of course, most of the time, we will practice basic latte art patterns and pouring milk technique.
